Over the past few weeks, Stannol has been busy digging and planting: a 1,000m2area of concrete-sealed wasteland has been renaturalised and transformed into a flowering garden. Under expert supervision, several tonnes of clay, substrate and topsoil were processed, paths were laid and around 4,000 native plants from the region were planted.
Another highlight: the conversion of an old agricultural trailer into a meeting room for creative brainstorming sessions and relaxed breaks. Incidentally, the idea for this came from the employees who take part in our sustainability circle: This is where we regularly discuss topics that concern our employees – and realise their ideas wherever possible.
We love our beautiful new outdoor area!
