GEN3 – Contaminometer Series
Testing device for assemblies and printed circuit boards to detect ionic contamination
Ionic contaminants can negatively affect the reliability of assemblies. The residues can initiate electrochemical processes that can lead to irreversible damage and failure of the assembly. Therefore, it makes sense to check assemblies for ionic contamination during the development stage and during the manufacturing process. The instrument can be used to determine ionic contamination on PCBs and components at any time. The GEN3 contaminometer series is particularly suitable for checking printed circuit boards during and after manufacture, at incoming goods, after soldering and during final assembly. Through systematic use, sources of contamination can be traced and thus avoided.
Product Features
- measurement of ionic contaminations in accordance with international standards
- highly accurate measuring system
- different tank sizes for different board sizes
- CM11+: practical desktop system for smaller assemblies
- CM22: cost-effective system for assemblies with larger height
